Ingredients
20 Chicken Wings
Franks Red Hot Sauce
300ml buttermilk
2 cups all purpose white flour
2 tsp table salt
1½ tsp dried thyme
1½ tsp dried basil
4 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp celery salt
2 Tbsp garlic salt
1 Tbsp black pepper
1 Tbsp dry mustard powder
3 Tbsp white pepper
1 Tbsp ground ginger
Directions
Step 1
Mix all of the herbs and spices together first, making sure there are no lumps in the mixture from spices that have clumped in storage.
Step 2
In a large bowl, add the herb & spice mixture to the flour and mix well until the spices are evenly distributed.
Step 3
Put wings into a large bowl and cover with the buttermilk and Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Put your spice and flour mix into a shallow tray. Place chicken wings into mixture and completely coat, dip in water and coat again.Then shaking off the excess.
Step 5
Preheat a sunflower oil filled deep fryer to 160
Step 6
Carefully put chicken wings into the oil. Fry until golden brown.
