Strawberry Crunch Coating
14 Oreos (Remove Cream)
8 Oreos (Leave Cream)
1 Box Strawberry Jello
4 T Melted Butter
Ice cream
1 P Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 T Sugar
2 t Vanilla Extract
1 t Strawberry Extract
Strawberry Filling
1 C Chopped Strawberries
2 T Sugar
2 T Water
1 t Strawberry Extract
Steps
In a bowl whip/whisk heavy cream, sugar, & vanilla extract until it thickens up like whip cream. Then gently fold in condensed milk and strawberry extract.
In a small saucepan add strawberries, sugar, water, & strawberry extract. Simmer on low for 13-17 minutes, or until it starts to fill cook down. Remove from heat and use an immersion blender to purée the strawberry blend. Set aside and let cool.
Preheat oven to 325°F. Remove cream from Oreos and blend up fine, add 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to strawberry jello mix until the consistency of sand. Mix the cookies and strawberry Jello together them spread them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 7-8 minutes. Blend 8 full Oreo cookies and set to the side. Take strawberry crunch out of the oven and blend again, then add additional Oreos and mix.
