Homemade Sweet Potato Cornbread Recipe

Written Steps
1. Peal 3 medium sweet potato yams.
2. Add potatoes to a pot of water with a tbsp of salt.
3. Boil potato until soft.
4. Add 2 ½ of potatoes in a mixing bowl along with 4 large eggs, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg. Mix everything is combined.
5. Once combined add in 2 ½ cups of buttermilk, 2 tbsp vanilla, ½ cup vegetable oil, 1 cup unsalted butter, ⅔ cup honey, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 cup sugar. Once everything is in the bowl, mix it together once more.
6. Put mix aside and in another bowl add in 2 cups of flour, 1 ½ cups of yellow cornmeal, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp baking powder.
7. Mix dry and wet ingredients together slowly. (DON'T ADD ALL OF THE WET BATTER TO DRY INGREDIENTS)
8. Spray your pan with baking spray and pour in batter. Bake at 375° for a hour to a hour and half. If it's not done bake for an additional 15 minutes.
9. For glaze, in a pan add in a ½ stick butter and melt it. Mix in ½ cup of brown sugar to it then add in agave. Cook for 3 minutes on medium then remove from hear.
